Welcome!

The Friends of the Studio City Branch Library are a volunteer organization formed to assist the library by funding both children's (such as Grandparents and Reading), teens and adult programs (Distinguished Speaker Series) and providing any needed items for our Library that are  not covered by the library budget. We also purchase new books for the collection as requested by the librarians.

Our funding comes mainly from monthly sales of book donations, which also provides an inexpensive source of books to the public and to teachers who often buy books for their classroom.  **Friends members are admitted to our Booksales at 9am, the general public at 10 am. Donations are taken in the community room on all Saturdays, 10 to 2.

Celebrate the Day: Patrons, you can give a book to the Studio City Branch Library and honor someone special. Your chosen bookplate will go in a book for the library. Contact: April at 818-763-8668 for a purchasing and signing appointment.

Friends Special Events & Programs:

We have been presenting a highly successful varied Speakers' Series in our meeting room for some time. These events are free to the public and often include book signings by the authors. They are well attended so come early as parking is limited. Books may be available for purchase.

SC Library Friends Online Store: You can now purchase merchandise with the SC Library Friends logo!  Shirts, Baby Items, Baseball Caps and Canvas Book Bags are available now.
